Terms & Conditions for Villa Gazelle, Dubai 2008/2009

The following are the applicable terms and conditions to have a booking confirmed at Villa Gazelle.


Deposit

A deposit of 20% of the booking fee is required as confirmation of the booking. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. No bookings are confirmed until deposit monies have been received and cleared. A scanned copy of the passports of all guests due to be staying at the villa are required.


Balance Payment

Eight weeks before your arrival at Villa Gazelle the balance of the booking fee is due. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if the balance payment is not paid by the due date.


Security Deposit

At the same time as making the balance payment a security deposit of £300 for stays of less than 14 days, £600 (GBP) for stays greater than 14 days is due to cover any damage incurred to Villa Gazelle or its contents during your stay. The security deposit will be refunded to you in full within seven days of the end of your stay by cheque provided no damage has been caused. Should any damage be found the security deposit will be used to rectify the problem and you may forfeit getting the deposit returned.


Making Payment

Payment can be made by cheque or by electronic bank transfer. Payment is also accepted by credit or debit cards; however a surcharge of 3.4% will be added to all payments received by credit or debit cards to cover the high cost incurred from processing fees. Details of where to post cheques, or bank details if you want to electronically transfer monies or how to pay by credit card will be included in an email that will be sent to you following you submitting the Booking Request Form on-line.


Cancellation Charges

In the event where you need to make a cancellation conditions apply and Villa Gazelle should be notified immediately. Cancellations made up to four weeks before your arrival will incur the loss of 50% of all monies received. Cancellations with less than four weeks prior to arrival will result in 100% loss of all monies received.


Use of Villa Gazelle

Guests and occupants at the Villa are asked not to participate in any anti-social behaviour which would disturb those around you. You are also asked not to permit the property to be used for any unlawful activity. No smoking and No pets are permitted within Villa Gazelle. Villa Gazelle is situated in an area which houses both residential and vacations homes so we ask that you be considerate and respect those around you.

Only those people you listed on the Booking Request Form are allowed to stay at Villa Gazelle. Should any complaints be received from neighbours or the community security officers this may result in your party being asked to vacant the property. Should this happen you will not be entitled to any refund on monies paid.

Guests are also requested to take reasonable care to keep Villa Gazelle and its contents in proper working condition during your stay.


Behaviour and Behaviour in the community

Behaviour - You accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid direct to us at the time. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any legal costs we incur in full in recovering full payment from you.

We expect all clients to have consideration for other people. If in our reasonable opinion or in the reasonable opinion of any other person in authority, you or any member of your party behaves in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger, upset or distress to any third party or damage to the property, or in any way damage the reputation and/or goodwill of the Owner we are entitled, without prior notice, to terminate the occupation of the person(s) concerned. In this situation, the person(s) concerned will be required to leave the accommodation. We will have no further responsibility toward such person(s). No refunds will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination.

Behaviour in the Community - We hope that you enjoy your stay, however please always keep in mind that you are located within a residential community which is strictly controlled and monitored. We respectfully request therefore that you abide by the community practices limiting noise and any other pursuit which may cause offense or disturbance to others.


Security

Villa Gazelle has 24 hour manned gated security. Guests are requested to ensure that the property is always made secure and locked up when leaving the premises un-occupied.


Checking in and out

Occupancy of Villa Gazelle begins at 15:00hrs on the day of your arrival and ends at 10:00hrs on the day of your departure. You will be expected to return safely all keys and car passes on your departure. In the event of lost keys or car passes you will be charged Dhs120 each and this will be deducted from your security deposit.


Welcome Pack

Guests that would like a welcome pack of groceries placed in the villa prior to their arrival should submit a shopping list at least three days before commencement of stay. A service charge of 50 Dirhams would be added to the total shopping bill which must be paid locally to our property managers on check-in.


Heated Swimming Pool

Heating of the swimming pool is not included within our rental rates. For the majority of the year there is no need to have the pool heated. However, during the winter months (Nov – Feb) some guests prefer to heat the pool. There is an additional charge of £65 per week to have the pool heated. Please advise at the time of booking if you would like the pool heated. Alternatively, you may pay locally our property manager 400 Dirhams. PLEASE NOTE - the pool would take THREE days to heat up from cold. Therefore, Guests that would like to pool warm on arrival must inform us of this at least five days before arrival.


Liability

During your stay at Villa Gazelle, the owners of the property do not accept any liability whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or persons within your party or any third party entering the premises or personal effects however caused. Villa Gazelle has a private swimming pool and the owners of the property do not accept any liability for injury or death whatsoever caused as a result of the use of the pool or surrounding areas. Please bear in mind that Villa Gazelle is located within a public community which houses both residential and vacation homes. Therefore the owners of the property cannot be held responsible for any ongoing construction, alterations to existing villas or any noise or annoyance as a result thereof on or around the community. Also the owners of the property cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or changes to your stay caused by ‘Force Majeure’ (e.g. strikes, floods, terrorist activities, closure of airports, weather conditions or any other event beyond their control).


Insurance

Guests are expected to have the entire party covered by adequate travel insurance for the duration of your stay in Dubai U.A.E.


Complaints

In the unlikely event of you having a complaint please contact the property owners of Villa Gazelle as soon as possible, so that every attempt can be taken to rectify the problem.


Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions

By paying your deposit you are agreeing for you and for your entire party to accept and adhere to the above stated terms and conditions.
